Rustbucket is a 5-piece Milwaukee cover band made up of veteran members of some of the city's most critically-acclaimed local live acts, and kicking out the best of the grunge, post-grunge, and alt-rock playlist. Think the heyday of "New Rock 102.1", but live, lit up and loud.  

Increasingly imitated (but never duplicated), we're the area's longest-running alternative rock tribute — accept no substitutes! The approach is simple: we play the biggest bangers from the era and do them authentic justice, just as faithfully as fans remember them. And that means the guitar tones are dialed in. The drums are note-for-note. And the vocals range from Eddie Vedder's defiant growl, to Layne Staley's plaintive wail, to Chris Cornell's soaring screams...and everything in between.
